KOCHI: In a tragic incident, a two-and-a-half-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a car. The deceased is Adhi, son of Puthiyakavu native Ranjith and Ramya. The child was walking with her mother in Thrippunithura when the car hit them. Ramya, who sustained injuries to her leg and head, has been admitted to a private hospital in Kochi. According to the police, the car was travelling at a high speed.

The Hill Palace police arrested car driver Vaduthala native Bosco Dikota in the incident. The car was packed with household items.
