KUNDARA: Tamil Nadu transport corporation bus conductor has been arrested by Kundara police for misbehaving with a lady passenger. The incident happened inside a bus shuttling service between Tenkasi to Kollam. Tenkasi south native Arasan (38) has been arrested.

The girl, a student in Punalur used the same bus to commute every day to reach back home. On April 19th, when the bus crossed the Kottarakara bridge, the conductor started misbehaving with her and came to sit near the girl with promises of marriage. The girl alerted her parents and her father accompanied her on the next day but couldn't get the chance to catch the conductor as he was shifted from duty on that particular day.

Her father again traveled with his daughter on the same bus recently and discreetly took a seat away from his daughter to learn about the conductor's endeavors. True to his daughter's words, the conductor reached near the girl and started taking which forced her father and other members to start an alteration. The bus was directed to Kundara police station and an arrest was made. The conductor is currently under remand custody.
