Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan used strong words of criticism for the yet-to-be-released Bollywood film “The Kerala Story”. He said the film rides on fallacy and distorts by large the harmonious picture of Kerala. Chief Minister later accused the film's dubious intentions to paint Kerala as a fiefdom of extremists thereby opening doors for sangh parivar to garner sway in the southern turf.

More words of opprobrium came from the CPM stalwart. He said the sangh parivar's recent maneuvers with Christian groups and the divisive politics reserved for Kerala should be an eye-opener for all. The movie is a finagle to achieve the Sangh objective to segregate religions in Kerala. Even the central ministry denied the term ‘love jihad’ and called it fictitious. Meanwhile, the same Sangh factions want a story demeaning the Muslim community just to feed the voter base in Kerala and skew the harmonious mindset of the people living here.

Unlike other turfs, the Parivar politics never found ground in the state. The ultimate has been reached and the saffron party will try all means to work its way to enter the Kerala turf. The same stands for the delusionary numbers of 32,000 girls being used to imply girls taken to ISIS from Kerala. This is unabashedly propagated by the movie.

The Chief Minister made his final words saying freedom of expression towers in a democracy but should not be used to segregate religions and instill hate in people. It leads to a dystopian state.
