THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor Arif Muhammad Khan said that what made the Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat program different was the positive sentiment radiating among the people. He pointed out that the achievements and contributions of many patriots, who were around us but were ignored, were regularly highlighted. The Governor was speaking at an invitee function at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of the telecast of the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat.

'Mann Ki Baat' is proof of how far a leader can lead the nation to positive actions through his inspirational words. This program which is a smooth flow of thoughts from the heart touches the hearts of Indians. People got excited and awakened about development, progress, education, welfare, and many other things. Mann Ki Baat is a voice for the wishes, dreams, and optimism of 130 crore Indians.

The governor said that sincere talks from the heart can have a permanent effect on the listeners. Though it has no wings, it can fly to all corners of the world.

Union Minister of State V Muraleedharan said that there is no such event in the history of the world where the Head of State interacts with the people. The Prime Minister informed the world through his words about the thoughts and feelings of billions of Indians. Kerala was also featured in Mann Ki Baat several times. Muralidharan said that we knew the greatness of common people only when Narendra Modi mentioned it in Mann Ki Baat.
