KOLLAM: Three people lost their lives in Kerala after a series of accidents on Bypass Road. Kayankulam native Dr. Mini Krishnan and Sunil died after their car crashed into another one on the bypass road. In another accident, collectorate employee Ranjith died in a midnight accident that happened on Bypass Road after his bike skidded and fell into a drain after entering an open pothole.

Dr Mini was on her way back collecting the best service award at a function in Neyyatinkara. The car she traveled in crashed into another near Kollam bringing disaster to the whole family. Her driver Sunil also died on the spot. Mini's daughter-in-law and her one-year-old toddler were seriously injured and are currently undergoing treatment.
