NEW DELHI: The gross GST revenue rose to Rs 1.87 lakh crore in April 2023. This was 16.8 per cent more than Rs 1,60,122 crore of gross GST collected for March 2023.

The gross GST collection in April 2023 is also an all-time high and is Rs 19,495 crore more than the previous highest collection of Rs 1,67,540 lakh crore, which was recorded in April 2022. Compared to April last year, GST revenue has recorded a growth of 12 percent this year.

On April 20 this year, Rs 68,228 crore was received through GST. This is the highest single-day figure in the history of GST revenue. The GST revenue of Kerala in the month of April was Rs 3010 crore. It was Rs 2689 crore last April. The GST revenue of the state has also increased by 12 percent compared to the previous year.
