BENGALURU: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday released its manifesto or vision document for the Karnataka Assembly elections in Bengaluru with 15 promises. The manifesto promises to implement a Uniform Civil Code in Karnataka if the BJP government comes back to power in the state. Uniform Civil Code will be implemented based on the recommendations given by a high-level committee formed for this purpose. It was BJP national president J.P. Nadda who released the manifesto.

The manifesto makes several promises to the BPL families. As per the manifesto, every BPL family will get half a litre of Nandini milk free every day and 5 kg of Shri Anna - Siri dhanya every month. The name of this scheme will be Poshane.

The BJP also promises to set up Atal Aahara Kendra, which will provide food at low cost, Namma Clinic in every ward and free annual medical check-ups for senior citizens.
