NEW DELHI: Gangster Tillu Tajpuriya, the accused in Delhi Rohini court shootout, has been killed inside Tihar jail. Yogesh Tunda, another gangster, and his accomplice Deepak Teetar attacked Tillu using an iron rod inside Mandoli jail. The authorities rushed Tillu to Deen Dhaya Upadhayay Hospital but he was declared dead. It is reported that the gangster was killed at 6:30 am on Tuesday. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
Sunil Mann alias Tillu Tajpuriya was the chief of a notorious criminal gang in Delhi. The police arrested him in 2015. On September 24, 2021, Tajpuriya's rival Jitender Gogi was shot dead by two of Tajpuriya's accomplices dressed as lawyers at Delhi's Rohini court. It was found that Tillu was the mastermind behind it.
