NEW DELHI: The producers of ‘The Kerala Story’ have made changes in the description. The crew of the film claimed that 32,000 women went missing from Kerala alone. The changes were made in this part of the description.
Changes were made in the YouTube description of the trailer of the film ‘The Kerala Story’ which traces the journey of three girls who became part of ISIS. The director of the film Sudipto Sen had earlier said that the film is not against Kerala.
He claimed that the reference to 32,000 will be understood after watching the film and that the film was made after seven years of research. The director has also clarified that there is not a single mention of insulting Kerala in the film.
The censor board had earlier given permission to screen the film with an A certificate. The board also directed to make changes in ten scenes including dialogues. Meantime, the high court has postponed the hearing of the petition against Kerala Story to May 5. The request for an emergency stay was not granted. The court has sought an explanation from the censor board.
