PANDALAM: Makayiram Nal Raghava Varma Raja (90) of Pandalam Palace (90) passed away on Thursday. He breathed his last at his daughter's home in Perunthanni, Thiruvananthapuram. He had worked as Divisional Account at Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board. He is the son of Ashwathi Thirunal Tanvangi Thampuratti and Iravi Namboothirippad of the Kaippuzha Mangalavilasam palace.

He had served as president of the Pandalam Palace executive committee. He took charge as Valiya Thampuran on June 29, 2022, following the demise of Valiya Thampuran Thiruvonam Nal Rajaraja Varma.
