KOLLAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Sree Narayana Guru is beyond comparison. He was inaugurating the Sree Narayanaguru Cultural Complex built with KIIFB funds under the leadership of the Department of Culture, at Kollam Asramam.

This is the stage when the country increasingly understands the relevance of Sree Narayana Guru. Guru stands as a rare phenomenon before the world. It was Sree Narayana Guru who initiated and laid the foundation to shape Kerala as it is today. Guru said that humanity is the caste of man. He gave the message that all people should live as brothers without discrimination.

There was a time when man could not live as a man, when he was denied the freedom to study, to wear the clothes of his choice, and in some paths to travel. From what Swami Vivekananda described as a madhouse, Kerala has turned into a region that the entire country is paying attention to. Guru's role in it is crucial. Therefore, no matter how much we respect him, it is not enough, Pinarayi Vijayan said.

Minister Saji Cherian presided. Sivagiri Mutt Secretary Swami Subhangananda, SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan, Ministers KN Balagopal, J Chinchurani, NK Premachandran MP, MLAs M Naushad, PS Supal, Kovoor Kunjumon, Mayor Prasanna Ernst, District Panchayat President Dr. PK Gopan, KSFDC Chairman Shaji N Karun. and others participated.
