BHOPAL: Six members of a family, including women, were shot dead during a land dispute. Two others, who sustained serious injuries, were admitted to the hospital. The incident took place in Lepa village in Bhopal. The video of the shooting has surfaced online. The video shows people coming with guns and shooting down the family members. The clash took place between the families of Dheer Singh Tomar and Gajendra Singh Tomar at around 10 am today.
The two families had clashed in 2013 following an altercation regarding waste dumping. Back then, two members of Dheer Singh's family were killed. Following this, the family of Gajendra Singh fled the village. Later, the two families reconciled and Gajendra Singh's family returned to Lepa today morning. However, the family members of Dheer Singh soon reached the spot and opened fire. The deceased people include Gajendra Singh and his two children. Police have registered cases against eight people involved in the murders.
