THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala governor Arif Muhammed Khan distanced away from commenting on the controversial movie “The Kerala Story”. The Governor denied a response to the film saying he hadn’t watched it yet. When asked about the comments made by PM Modi in Bellary, Governor said the PM might have watched the movie so the comments.

Governor alluded to the freedom of expression prevailing in India to comment on the controversial movie. He said all sides have an opinion and it is for the government to initiate an investigation to check whether the facts being mentioned in the movie as true or not. Meanwhile, PM Modi said Kerala is a majestic state with hardworking people but is getting tarnished by the rampant increase in terrorism.

“ The terrorism of the new age has switched strategies. Instead of weapons, terrorism tries to create wedge within societies and make one section turn against the other. Such is the happenings in Kerala and the movie has brought that to light.” PM Modi said in Bellary.
