NEW DELHI: Two wrestlers gave statements that WFI chief Brij Bhushan touched their private parts during training. They also stated that this caused mental difficulties. The police informed the court yesterday that they have so far recorded the statements of four people in the complaint against Brij Bhushan.

Even though a case has been registered under POCSO, the Delhi Police has not yet questioned Brij Bhushan. The police said that the statements of all complainants will be recorded this week. Sports Minister Anurag Thakur demanded the wrestlers to be patient till the investigation is completed. Two weeks have passed since the complaint was lodged and a week has passed since the Delhi Police registered a case.

The wrestlers started protest on April 23 demanding to arrest Brij Bhushan and to remove him as WFI chief.

National Federation of Indian Women General Secretary Annie Raja has sent a letter to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha demanding the cancellation of the Parliament membership of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is accused of sexual assault.
