THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has responded to the allegations related to the AI camera controversy for the first time. Speaking after inaugurating the KGOA state conference online, the CM said that the people won't believe the allegations being raised against the government.
"Attempts are being made to tarnish the LDF government's second year. That intention won't get realised. No one should think that people will believe the accusations that are being raised. Those making allegations will become laughing stock in public," the CM said.
"The government's interest is in development. Some people with vested interests want the state not to know this. They are looking for what can be fabricated against the government. The media is also cooperating with them," he said.
"What were the commotions in 2021 and then what happened? The people stood together with the LDF. Both BJP and UDF are of the same mindset when it comes to stopping all development. Nothing is working for them despite making false stories and false allegations," he added.
