BENGALURU: NDA Kerala unit convener and BDJS state president Thushar Vellappally receives death threats. Thushar's lawyer Sinil Mundapalli stated in his complaint to the Karnataka DGP that Thushar was threatened to be killed if he campaigned for the BJP in Karnataka. He was constantly called on his phone and threatened from around 12 noon yesterday.
Thushar has been campaigning in various areas of Karnataka for two weeks as per the instructions of the BJP central leadership. He was campaigning at Gonikoppal in Kodagu district when he received death threats on his phone. In the complaint, Advocate Sinil Mundapalli demanded that a thorough and transparent investigation be conducted into the death threat and legal action be taken.
