NEW DELHI: A court has found a youth guilty of sexually abusing and killing children. The accused is UP native Ravindra Kumar. It was found that Ravindra Kumar is a drug addict and watches obscene videos regularly. He used to walk several kilometres in search of children to sexually assault and kill them. Ravindra Kumar started this routine at the age of 18.

Ravindra Kumar had sexually abused and killed 30 girls until 2015. He was arrested in 2015 for kidnapping, sexually abusing and murdering a 6-year-old girl. Upon questioning him in this case, the police got information about his previous crimes. The prosecution has demanded the court to award maximum punishment to the accused. According to media reports, the court will sentence the accused within the next two weeks.

Ravindra Kumar, a native of Uttar Pradesh, came to Delhi in 2008. He became addicted to drugs while working as a plumber. After working during day time, he used to return home and sleep from 8 pm to 12 am. He then used to go out and walk several kilometres in search of girls to sexually assault.

The police found that the accused used to go to various streets, slums and construction sites in search of girls. He kidnapped girls by luring the girls with 10-rupee notes or chocolates.
