IDUKKI: Another incident of police escorted convict going rogue inside a hospital happened in Nedumkandam, Idukki. It was Thiruvananthapuram native Praveen, who tried manhandling doctors and hurled abuse at hospital staff.
The doctors later tied Praveen's legs to continue with treatment. The convict was escorted by police to the hospital after he suffered injuries in a scuffle. The doctors accused the police of not providing adequate security while bringing such aggressive offenders.
Meanwhile, in Kasargod, a murder accused rammed into hospital premises brandishing a knife. He stabbed a man in the market area and ran straight to the hospital. The police after much effort overpowered the criminal.
