BENGALURU: The congress is gaining the majority in Karnataka with passing hours. Minding the developments, politician Yathindra Siddaramaiah has backed support for his father to become the next chief minister of the state. The statement weighs significance as the turmoil for the CM seat is heating up between D K Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah in Karnataka.

“ Will keep BJP out of power at any cost. It is the need of the hour. As a son, I want my father to become again the CM of the state. As a normal citizen of Karnataka, I want Siddaramaiah to become the CM of the state because he is excellent in his work. He did tremendously during the last stint before getting toppled by BJP. The corruption in the state will be cleansed by Congress if returned” said Yathindra Siddaramaiah.

Meanwhile, congress is still apprehensive about a change in numbers during the final phase.45 constituency results are teetering on the edge with the lead circling below 1000 votes.113 seats are necessary for the majority in the state. If Congress plunges to that number, JDS will emerge turning out as the kingmaker with Kumaraswamy expecting nothing less than the CM Chair
