KOLLAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday said that the mandate in Karnataka gives strength to secularism and the entire country wants the fall of BJP. He was inaugurating a meeting organized in Kannanalloor as part of the second-anniversary celebration of the state government.

"This election bodes well for the future of the country. People have realized that if the BJP comes to power at the Centre once again, the country will be completely destroyed. Given this, anti-BJP votes should be consolidated from each state. The mandate in Karnataka gives more energy to such efforts. The Congress, who won in Karnataka, should learn some lessons and move forward. They should not get lured by offers. BJP is trying to come to power despite losing the elections. Congress should be careful not to repeat that experience," Pinarayi Vijayan said.
