KOCHI: The body of the doctor, who went missing in the river, has been found. The dead is Dr Ullas R Mullamala (42), senior doctor of the cardiology department of Holy Family Hospital, at Muthalakodam in Thodupuzha. The accident happened last night.

The incident happened when Ullas came to his friend's house with his colleagues. He reached the bathing ghat at Payyat in Mamalassery around 6 pm last evening. He was swept away in the undercurrents while taking a bath. His friends tried to save him, but failed in it. Though a search was conducted, he could not be found. The body was found this morning during a search by the fire brigade's scuba team.
