MALAPPURAM: The police have arrested eight people in connection with the murder of a migrant worker in Malappuram's Kizhisseri. The deceased Rajesh Manchi, a native of Bihar, was attacked with a weapon and a tree branch.

Rajesh was accused of theft by the attackers. The interrogation and thrashing continued from 12 pm to 2.30 am. Videos and pictures of these were taken, which was later deleted by the accused. At the same time, the preliminary information is that the deceased had come for a robbery attempt.
