BENGALURU: The Siddaramaiah cabinet in Karnataka will be sworn in on Saturday. 19 ministers will take oath along with Siddaramaiah. While Lingayat and Vokkaliga groups will have four ministers each, the Muslim community will have three ministers. It is indicated that there will be five ministers from the Dalit community.
Meanwhile, the Congress Legislative Party meeting is being held in Bengaluru today. Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar have reached Bengaluru from Delhi. The swearing-in ceremony will be held on Saturday at 12.30 pm.
After days of uncertainty, the Congress on Thursday announced Siddaramaiah as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that DK Shivakumar will be the Deputy Chief Minister.
