THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The touted AI camera working is moving at a sloth pace with challans not even reaching drivers who were caught violating traffic. The technical committee already confirmed glitches in the AI camera working. The government thought such issues were menial and could be easily solved later. However, even after one week since its introduction, the overall working of cameras is in shambles.

Keralakaumudi earlier reported about how the challan system has failed. Minister Antony Raju meanwhile warned about taking action against employees who are laconic in work, failing to send challans albeit the AI camera finding violations.

From June 5 to 8th, 357730 cases of violation were caught on camera. Inside the control room, the Keltron employees just checked 80, 743 cases. When upload to the website, the cases shrunk to just 19,790.
