A car accident occurred during the shooting of Dhyan Sreenivasan's film 'Swargathile Katturumbu'. During the shoot, the jeep driven by the actors lost control and hit an electric post on the roadside. Actor Chembil Ashokan, Gowri Nanda and Chali Pala were in the jeep. Due to the slow speed of the vehicle, a major disaster was avoided. No one was reported to be seriously injured.
