KOCHI: The Crime Branch on Saturday questioned the principal of Maharaja's College in the controversy regarding the mark list of SFI state office bearers PM Arsho. The action is based on Arsho's complaint that there was a conspiracy to make changes in the mark list. The investigation team led by District Crime Branch ACP Pius George reached the college and recorded the statement of the principal, the second accused in the case.
The principal told the investigating team that the publication of Arsho's exam results along with junior students was only a technical error and there was no conspiracy behind it. The Crime Branch also questioned archaeology department teacher Vinod Kumar.
Although Arsho's name was found in the list of students who passed the examination, his mark list showed that he scored 'zero' marks. This had led to controversy.
