PATHANAMTHITTA: Python that got into the transformer was found dead from electrocution. The incident took place in Pathanamthitta on Sunday morning. The locals noticed that a python had crawled into the transformer. The snake was found to be dead in an inspection that followed.

As informed by the locals, the wildlife department officials reached the spot and took out the python from the transformer. The forest guards buried the snake's body. Locals inform that after the flood season, the disturbance from wild animals including python and wild boar is severe in the area. Despite the presence of pythons in the area, the locals are shocked to find the snake inside the transformer.

Meanwhile, the forest department had shot and killed six wild boars that had fallen into a well in Kannur the other day. The incident took place at Eranholi Kudakkalam. Wild boar attacks have been rampant in the area recently. Meanwhile, six wild boars were found trapped inside the well. As informed by the locals, the forest department officials reached the spot and started trying to get the pigs out, but after the locals protested, they shot all six pigs.
