BEIJING: China asks the last Indian journalist to leave the country as the dispute between the countries continues. The Chinese authorities asked the PTI reporter to leave the country this month. It is indicated that this action is a part of increasing problems between China and India, which are the economic powers of Asia.
There were a total of four Indian media workers in China at the beginning of this year. In April, China refused to renew the visas of reporters of Prasar Bharati and The Hindu. The fourth journalist was asked to go back following this. China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and India's Ministry of External Affairs declined to comment on the removal of journalists. India had earlier rejected the visa renewal applications of two journalists from Xinhua News Agency and China Central Television.
Earlier this month, India's Ministry of External Affairs had said that while Chinese reporters in India were working without difficulty, Indian journalists in China were not.
