A stray dog ​​attacked a mother and daughter in Thrissur's Punnyurkulam. Bindu (44) wife of Suresh and daughter Srikutty (22) were bitten on Mukkandath Thazham Road, Punnyurkulam.

Bindu was bitten by a stray dog ​​on the road while she was walking to the shop and her daughter Sreekutty was also bitten while trying to save Bindu. Both sought treatment at Thrissur Medical College Hospital.

Meanwhile, in the context of the incident in which an 11-year-old boy died in a stray dog ​​attack, Minister MB Rajesh said that all precautions and vigilance will be taken by the government to prevent such incidents from happening again. A meeting of top officials of various government departments will be held soon and necessary steps will be taken to control the stray dog ​​problem. MB Rajesh also informed that the state government will approach the Supreme Court again, seeking permission to kill stray dogs, which are dangerous to human life.
