THRISSUR: Two children were found dead in a lodge in Guruvayur. The children dead were aged 14 and 8. Their father, who is in a critical condition has been shifted to the hospital. The police said that he may have attempted suicide after killing his children.

As per the identity card, the man is identified as Chandrasekharan of Sultan Bathery in Wayanad and his children. The family took the room at 10.30 pm last night. One of the children was found hanging and the other was lying dead. Chandrasekharan was found with his throat slit and was rushed to the hospital.

The hotel employees informed the police when the room remain closed. An investigation by the Guruvayur police is continuing. They have also informed the Wayanad police.
