KOZHIKODE: The police filed a charge sheet in the Kundamangalam court in a case where certain people tried to influence a complainant woman who was allegedly sexually abused in the medical college. According to the charge sheet, five female employees together threatened and pressured the survivor to get rid of the complaint and to change the confidential statement given to the Magistrate. The threat happened when the complainant was alone in the room. Grade 1 attendant N.K. Aasya is named the prime accused.
At the same time, the medical college had stated on May 31 that the suspension had been canceled stating that it was clear that the charges against the employees could not be proved in the internal investigation. However, due to strong criticism against it, the reinstatement process was cancelled. K. Saseendran, who was a native of Vadakara and a hospital employee, tried to allegedly abuse the woman who was in a semi-conscious state in the ICU after thyroid surgery.
