THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More accusations against IG Guguloth Lakshman have popped up in fraudster Monson Mavunkal's case. According to details, IG Lakshman arranged for a lady to be the mediator, to sell those fake antique assortments of Monson. More details reveal IG deputing police officers to help cart the antique to certain destinations.
The crime branch has even submitted digital proofs showing police escort offered at times to Monson during his heydays in business. IG Lakshman maintained three years of friendship with Monson. Proofs were replete about Lakshman using police to even guard Monson’s antique store. However, due to high official intrusions, IG Lakshman escaped any such criminal charges.
The Andhra native woman who later turned mediator in business was introduced to Monson by IG Lakshman. Gold Bible, Quran, and jewels were attempted to sell by these groups. The three even met at the Police club in Peroorkada.
Police officials were assigned by IG Lakshman to cart all such antiques from Monson’s house to the police club. The police connections were used as a pretext by Monson to instill trust among his customer base. Even after MOnson's arrest, IG Lakshman took police officials to Monson's antique store in the garb of search.
IG Lakshman is no commoner in Telangana. He shares a good rapport with the current CM KCR. Lakshman has also received several offers to contest in elections from 2009.
