NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court's vacation bench rejected the demand for an urgent hearing on the stray dog issue in Kerala. Petitioner Sabu Stephen requested an emergency hearing after a boy named Nihal was killed in a stray dog attack in Kannur's Muzhapilangadu. However, a bench consisting of Justices Vikram Nath and Ahsanuddin Amanullah suggested approaching the Kerala High Court or appropriate forums. Petitioner's lawyer VK Biju also asked the Supreme Court-appointed Justice S Sirijagan committee to seek a report on the issue.
