THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister of Higher Education R Bindu came with a riposte to the continuing mockery of her English in social media. The minister's speech during the India Today conclave was fodder for many including BJP leader Sandeep Vachasapati who took a jibe at her misplaced English in the show. “ I take my house in my head”, was the minister's infamous reply that got scorned by social media users. Jibes then stated the irony behind such a person with serious English deficiency taking the reins of higher education in Kerala.

It has come to my notice that some colonial geniuses have been trying to make a mockery of something I said at a public platform. Those who would like clarity on what I was actually saying (which was a statement rooted in the reality of gender divide) can listen to this video: pic.twitter.com/0xM5ByKjv4

However, Minster came with an explanation on Twitter saying the video was willfully cropped by usual suspects to tarnish Kerala’s image. In the show, the anchor asked the minster about her routine engagements when the gaffe happened. Minster in a reply said, “ I take my house in my head wherever I go”.
