CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu minister Senthil Balaji’s health is deteriorating badly, said the doctors. Balaji(47) was arrested late at night by the Enforcement Directorate from his residence. However, drama upended the events with the minister suffering a sudden chest pain, ergo forcing the officials to shift him to Omandurar medical hospital.

The angiogram test revealed three blocks in Balaji’s heart. The doctors have recommended an immediate bypass surgery to ward off any concerns. The social media erupted after images and videos flourished on Twitter showing a crying minister being escorted by officials after his arrest.

Meanwhile, ministers including Shekar Babu alleged physical assault by ED officials. Ministers after visiting Balaji inside the hospital found swelling behind his ears which they assumed to be the result of a slap. CM M K Stalin visited Senthil Balaji who is still inside ICU. According to emerging details, Balaji is continuing in his unconscious phase and is slowly responding to treatments.

CM Stalin in a strong rebuttal said BJP will be taught a lesson by the people of Tamil Nadu in 2024. He said Balaji was more than ready to cooperate with the investigation but accused ED members of manhandling him, 'an abominable act', commented the CM.
