KOCHI: Two were arrested with MDMA inside a hotel in Kochi. Aluva native Taufeeq(27) and Bengaluru Don Bosco Church K H B quarters native Sameerabi(23) were arrested by Kalamassery police. The two were staying in a lodge near the Edapally toll plaza.

After getting an anonymous phone call detailing the drug possession, the Kalamassery police reached the spot for a check. The two started behaving abnormally after seeing the police which triggered more doubts about something happening behind the four walls of the room.

After a detailed search, 530 mg of MDMA was confiscated from the room.
