LONDON: Indian student stabbed to death in London. Kontham Tejaswini Reddy (27), a native of Hyderabad and a postgraduate student in London, was killed. Another woman was also injured in the attack. The police said that she was admitted to the hospital and out of danger. It is reported that they were attacked by a 23-year-old native of Brazil. The police arrested him.
The incident took place at 10 am local time on Tuesday in the building in Wembley, London where Tejaswini and her friend were living in. Tejaswini died on the spot. A 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were initially detained by the police in connection with the incident. Later, the police informed that the woman was released and another 23-year-old man was arrested.
Tejaswini arrived in London for higher studies in March 2022, said her relative Vijay. He said that Tejaswini moved to a new residence with her friends a week ago. The reason for the murder is not clear and the police have informed that the investigation is in progress.
