k-vidya-sfi-leader

PALAKKAD: The police constituted a bigger team to investigate the fake document case involving SFI leader K Vidya. Cyber experts are new additions included in the team. The changes were made after criticism turned awry about police failing to arrest the main accused Vidya even after 10 days of registering the case. Puthur and Cherpulassery police officers are also added to the new team.

As part of the investigation, Agali police will reach Chittoor government college and will take statements from Sripriya who was included in the panel which earlier interviewed Vidya. Meanwhile, Vidya’s anticipatory bail will be considered by HC on June 20.

It was earlier found that Vidya arrived at Attapadi College in a white Maruti Swift car. After she stepped out, the car turned back and went straight out of college, only to return back after 12 pm. The black film used in the car made it difficult to identify her male friend. The CCTV visuals were checked but the police are still vague over many things associated with the car and the person.

Meanwhile, Vidya's biodata submitted to Attapadi College got leaked yesterday roping in another controversy. In it, she has falsely claimed about having served 10 months as a lecturer at Maharajas College.
