THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have arrested the youth who assaulted a pregnant woman in broad daylight in Thampanoor. The arrested person has been identified as Titus (30), a native of Neyyatinkara Karumkulam. According to the police, Titus was earlier arrested in various harassment cases before. The police managed to nab Titus so quickly by conducting an investigation after examining similar cases. The police had released the CC TV footage of the accused the other day.

The incident related to the case happened last Monday at 11 am. The woman was walking to her place of work in Thampanoor when the accused molested her. The woman got frightened by the sudden attack. After the attack, he passed the woman and stared at her for some time. However, he fled the spot when the woman was about to respond.
