CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Friday responded to the critical remarks made by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin against the BJP. Speaking at a public gathering in Sivaganga, Annamalai challenged the Tamil Nadu CM and dared him to touch BJP cadres.

"'I did not see Stalin this angry even when Kanimozhi was arrested. People are saying that Senthil Balaji is the treasurer of DMK. Stalin crossed all limits with his threatening statement. Do you think we will be frightened by your threats? Try touching one of us if you dare. You will get back what you give," Annamalai said.

Infuriated by Minister Senthil Balaji's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Stalin had posted a video on Thursday challenging the BJP. In a video posted on Twitter, Stalin warned the saffron party saying any kind of retribution from DMK will be too heavy for BJP to handle. He has also asked the leadership to come face to face rather than assigning central agencies to do the vengeance.

In the 10-minute-long video, Stalin cleared the air saying "This is not intimidation but Warning!" He said the country is passing through an unannounced emergency with the Modi government assigning central agencies for hatchet jobs.
