THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The hanuman langur that returned to the zoo premise after its initial escape, is feared of passing the zoo compound walls again. The zoo keepers have informed the authorities about losing sight of the langur after being vigil for two days. A detailed search is undergoing on premises near Kuravankonam and Ambalamukku, immediately after the news came out about the escape.

It was last Tuesday that the Langur escaped the cage and traveled beyond the zoo premise. A notice was announced immediately asking the residents nearby to practice caution. However, the langur returned back into the zoo after one day and stayed long on the jungle jack tree. The keepers tried to lure the wild one with its favorite food. Another attempt was made to bring down the langur by showing his pair. All attempts went in vain as the langur cavorted on the tress not showing any signs of coming down.

The langur is now assumed to have moved towards the Ambalamukku region.
