LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said that there is good hope in the grand united opposition against the NDA. He said that it is not a big deal to oust the BJP from power in next year's elections and he has a formula for it.
The SP leader claimed that his political equation-PDA and the unity of the opposition parties would make for an easy victory. He explained that the three elements of Pichde (backward classes), Dalit and Alpasankhyak (minorities) will be decisive in the 2024 elections. He also called for an understanding between the small and big parties in each state who want to defeat the BJP and asked them to support each other.
Akhilesh also said that the Samajwadi Party has never been tough on seat distribution. He also expressed confidence that if the opposition stands united, it can defeat the BJP in all 80 seats in UP. The SP leader demanded that other opposition parties join hands to oust the BJP from UP.
Prominent leaders including Akhilesh Yadav will participate in the meeting organized in Patna, the capital of Bihar, on June 23, aiming at the unity of the anti-BJP opposition parties ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Akhilesh Yadav was sharing his political observations ahead of the crucial meeting.
