THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Police has issued a warning over an increase in the number of scams that trick individuals into installing dangerous malware on their computers and mobile devices in order to collect sensitive information from them. In its Facebook post, the Kerala Police said that people should not download or install files obtained through untrustworthy links other than Play Store and App Store under any circumstances. The police stated that people should take precautions as they may fall into a trap if they download .apk and .exe files.
