HYDERABAD: A couple was tied to a tree and caned by a group of villagers on suspicion of practicing black magic. The incident took place in Kolkur village in Sangareddy district in Telangana. Shyamamma and her husband Yadaiah were brutally tortured by the villagers.

The villagers went on to lock the couple in the room after assaulting them. Upon learning about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the couple to the hospital. According to the police, the couple sustained minor injuries. A case has been registered against the villagers for assaulting the couple.
