THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After the first phase allotment of Plus One Single Window Admission, 62,305 reserved seats remain vacant. These will be filled in the third allotment.

The third allotment will have more chances of placement than the second allotment. The seats which are not filled in the first phase will be filled in the second allotment. In the first phase, 2,41,104 people got an allotment. All the general seats in 14 districts have been filled in the first allotment.

All the vacant seats in the first allotment are under various reservation quotas. These will be converted into merit seats in the third allotment. Vacant SC reserved seats will be allotted first to ST category and ST reserved seats to SC category. Remaining vacant SC/ST reserved seats will be considered for OEC category followed by OBC category. Vacancies after this will be converted into general seats. Allotment of vacant seats in sports quota will be done as merit seats after supplementary allotment.
