PATHANAMTHITTA: Accused attacked the judge's car. The official vehicle of Judge GR Bilkul of Pathanamthitta Thiruvalla Family Court was wreaked by the accused who came out of the court after the hearing. The incident happened around 4 pm today. EP Jayaprakash (53) of Sivagiri Nagar, Mangalore, was taken into custody by the police in the court premises, where the attack took place, after the incident.

Eyewitnesses say that the accused, who is a merchant navy officer, was angry during the court proceeding as well. There are divorce and dowry related cases against him in the court. It is reported that he got violent because he knew that the course of the case was not in his favor. Immediately after the hearing, the accused went out of the court and returned with a spade. He broke the windows of the car after that. He smashed the front and rear windows of the Maruti Swift car used by the judge. The police are interrogating Jayaprakash who has been arrested.
