TORONTO: Titan will run out of oxygen today afternoon. The lives of five millionaires who vanished in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean is in uncertainty still.

While the world is praying, the hope of rescue workers is fading.

Meanwhile, the US Coast Guard announced yesterday that it had picked up sound near the wreck of the Titanic at sea, raising hopes. However, it could not be confirmed whether it was from Titan. A search is on focussing on the source of the noise.

Canada's P-3 aircraft picked up the sound with the help of sonar buoys. A sound similar to the noise of something being hit was heard two or three times at 30-minute intervals. Small unmanned marine vehicles (ROVs) that can be controlled from the surface are used to locate the source of the noise. Such a vehicle on the French ship L’Atalante is capable of reaching the bottom of the Atlantic. However, if Titan has changed course, it cannot be found.

So far, 20,000 square kilometers have been searched. More ships and planes have joined the mission. The wreckage of the Titanic lies at a depth of 12,500 feet. There is high pressure here. Experts say that if Titan is cracked, it cannot survive the strong pressure.

The Titan went missing on Sunday afternoon Indian time. Communication with the parent ship Polar Prince was lost within one to three quarter hours after being put into the sea. Titan's owners, Oceangate Company CEO Stockton Rush, British businessman Hamish Harding, British-Pakistani billionaire Shehzada Dawood and his son Suleiman, and French explorer Paul Henri Nargeolet are on the ship. Paul is the pilot of Titan.

Despite going in search of voice

In 2014, when searching for the Malaysian passenger plane that sank in the sea, voices were heard from under the sea. However, the wreckage has not been found yet.

Sounds like this are still occasionally heard from metal objects on the sunk Titanic. It is suspected that this is what was heard yesterday.
