POTHENCODE: A woman, who came to a typewriting institute, was assaulted by a migrant worker. The incident took place at UPS Junction in Pothencode when the young woman was getting off her scooter.

The migrant worker first came near the woman's scooter. He then got on the scooter. According to the complaint filed by the owner of the typewriting institute with the Pothencode police, the accused then went near the woman and tried to assault her. The youth also tried to remove the number plate of the scooter. Meanwhile, the father of another woman, who had come to the typewriting institute, questioned the worker. The migrant worker from Ranchi said that he wanted this scooter and was even ready to pay for it. The woman's father, who got terrified by the actions of the migrant worker, soon called the police.
