CHENNAI: Fire broke out in Chennai-Lokmanya Tilak Express as it reached the Chennai Basin Bridge. The cable to AC in the engine caught fire and the train was stopped due to it.

A video of the train catching fire was also released. In the video, passengers can be seen running from the train as smoke rises from it. Railways informed that the train will resume service after the fault is rectified.
