NEW YORK: It is reported that 19-year-old Suleman Dawood, who was one among the five people killed in the Titan submersible's disastrous implosion, had expressed fear before embarking on the voyage. Reports are claiming that Suleman was apprehensive about the expedition underwater days before the journey. A relative of Suleman told international media that Suleman was hesitant and terrified about the trip days before the Titan submersible went into the ocean.

Suleman is the son of British-Pakistani businessman and billionaire Shahzada Dawood (48). Shahzada was the vice chairman of Engro, a global business firm headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan. Suleman was a first-year student at the Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow. Shahzada's sister Azmeh Dawood told the media that Suleman had initially expressed hesitation about going on the trip, However, he accompanied his father on the journey as he wanted to make his father happy on Father's Day.

Apart from Shahzada Dawood and Suleman, Oceangate CEO Stockton Rush (61), British billionaire Hamish Harding (58), and French researcher Paul-Henri Nargeolet (77) were killed in the accident. The US Navy and Titan's owner, Oceangate Expeditions, confirmed that all aboard the Titan were dead. However, their bodies have not been found. The wreckage of the Titan submersible was found near the wreckage of the Titanic on Thursday.
